POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a strategic leader to take a critical role within the Business Development team to define and optimize our B2B sales strategy, processes, operating cadence, and systems that enable the business to realize profitable growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience in the iGaming industry, creating strategies that deliver commercial results.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Further develop the B2B Sales Strategy, establish insights into market opportunities, and support cross-functional planning processes
  • Become a critical business partner to the Finance, Product Management, Regulatory and Client Delivery teams
  • Define & manage the key performance indicators (KPI’s) for business development & help implement the appropriate reporting to ensure desired results are being achieved
  • Oversee the annual planning process for the Business Development Organization
  • Set and meet KPIs, objectives and key results with the GPN executive team
  • Develop and maintain sales best practices, pitches, objection handling, and issues resolution, etc.
  • Develop and progress a pipeline of qualified opportunities sufficient to reliably hit aggressive revenue and deal targets
  • Engage decision-makers at viable prospect companies in relevant dialogue on how GPN can help them achieve their goals and/or minimize their pain points
  • Identify and nurture leads through all stages of conversion and engage internal subject experts at appropriate points in the funnel
  • Efficiently gather necessary information and write effective proposals, including constructing clear financial business cases
  • Timely capture and complete sales activity in Salesforce and maintain the discipline of pipeline management to ensure achieving targets
  • Lead contract negotiation processes • Remain up to date with relevant industry and job knowledge by attending conferences, participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Monitor market trends and share information with your colleagues throughout the organization
  • Support process and organization of corporate development efforts (i.e. M&A, partnerships, and investor relations)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in related role
  • iGaming experience and contacts is a MUST
  • Proven experience building credibility and gravitas with client stakeholders at all levels of the organization to successfully drive partnerships and growth
