POSITION SUMMARY

The Strategy and Ops Manager works on a range of critical projects and issues to support strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. The Strategy and Operations Manager will help drive and monitor the performance and effectiveness of GPN’s most critical initiatives and projects. You will partner with the SVP of Business Development, Strategy, & Operations, our C-Suite, and other business leaders (revenue, marketing, product, engineering, finance, and others) to determine the organization’s priorities, define the core business processes, and operating models across the organization. As a newly minted team for GPN, you will be critical in building the founding principles, processes, and workflows for the Strategy and Operations and how it partners with key stakeholders within the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Create frameworks and tools, as directed by leadership to establish new or modified internal business processes, roles, accountabilities, etc. across the organization to efficiently run the business
  • Compile relevant information from different departments (i.e. product roadmaps, resource/hiring requirements, timetables, along with corresponding budgets and forecasts, etc.) to support the development of an Annual Operating Plan
  • Develop and maintain business-critical metrics, analyze data, identify root causes, and present findings and recommendations to drive key business decisions
  • Prepare presentations (PowerPoint), trackers, dashboards, etc. for the board of directors, senior management, and other internal or external teams, on various topics including strategic direction, long term plans, opportunities, and updates on business development/integrations, etc.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training process for key new roles within the company as we grow
  • Lead execution of special projects in support of the growth plan and/or prioritized with leadership
  • Partner closely with client delivery teams to help build common tools, processes, and reporting to ensure expected synergies, efficiencies and growth are delivered as promised and any new partner opportunities are identified and maximized
  • Respond to requests from internal counterparts/external partners. Investigate requests, tackle problems and provide solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related role
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
